Hi All,
Just got a call from my dealer confirming my order. H10 shipping out to my today! The long wait is over. Now what will the front paint on the engine be, dull gray or bright silver? Any takers?

I'm guessing silver...... like every other scale steamer recently released.
Photos please. So I can decide whether to pass on it or not.
Bright silver, gonna' need some paint.
There's a video of a production version posted somewhere here.
Cheap silver.
Hope they run out of that paint soon!
Still hoping it isnt as bad as it looks.. my lines west version better not need to much work to make it decent.
This is the sample Lionel had at York, not too bad IMO but I don't speak for everyone. Above all the swinging bell, whistle steam, and relatively low price make this a desirable engine for me.

No image is showing up for me but I already know what they look like. The white isnt prototypical and I hope the bell and whistle (the physical pieces) aren't that matte gold. Other than that I'm excited to get mine in!

Personally the bell and whistle don't bother me as much as the smokebox. I think the smokebox would look OK on a passenger locomotive, but not an H10.
Also, there is a thread where someone did a wash on a Lionel PRR F-unit to make it the correct Brunswick Green. I'm assuming you could do the same thing with the H10, but I'd like to see someone else do it before I take the plunge. Here's the thread (you'll have to scroll down a bit): https://ogrforum.com/...onel-tmcc-f7-6-24584
Looks like the same silver they used on the F3's and E6's
Well for this price as long as they are good runners they most likely will sell out. paint job will not matter.

Not my E6 Atlantic....that has plenty of other issues (and is back at Lionel after about an hour of running) but no silver paint.

The H10s are supposed to have the same mechanics of the Harriman 2-8-0s and Lionel claims they are very reliable. Let's hope it's true!
So are the H10 sets still delayed to the new year or will they be at the dealers 12/1?
PRRhorseshoecurve,
Yes, my H10 is on it's way from Nassau Hobby, ETA 11/22/2018. Even got a tracking # sent to me. But I expect the snow may delay it a day or two. Call Nassau about the sets.

Out of curiosity, which H10 did you order?
I ordered the PA lines west #7109. I liked the hi tender load.

The new one? What issues did it have? I noticed that mine seems to have gotten wobblier....
Pictures and videos please! I'd love to see the Long Island one.
Yeah, I'd like to see as well.
The H10’s are now available on Trainworld’s website! Shop away, but be sure to save a Lines West version for me.
