One of the board members was kind enough to sell me his locomotive in early feb. Last night I got my legacy hooked up and tonight we got the Heisler on the tracks. A beautiful engine with great features, finish and proportion. The movement was great, the chuff, smoke and sounds ideal! My girls had a great time operating it too and it is a shear pleasure to share the excitement with them!
One challenge: attaching the drawbar and stick/drive are a real pain. Either I am getting older or its the engine... I finally set it on its side attached, snugged all three trucks onto the rail edge and gently righted the locomotive---I would think there is a better way.
