Lionel, How about your offering diecast NASCAR trucks and trailers in 1:48 Scale?

Years ago, a company called Brookfield made 1/24 scale cars, trailers and haulers.  Production quantities were very low.  Fortunately, I was able to get a few of them.  RCCA (now Lionel Racing) bought Brookfield out several years ago and have never offered the 1/24 trailers or haulers.

Racing Champions (also, I believe bought out by RCCA) offered many race cars (and a few haulers) in 1/43 scale.  Racing Champions (1/64, 1/43 and 1/24) were cheap and not detailed.

It would be great to see Lionel Racing offer 1/48 cars and haulers.  They seem to be doing so well with just the 1/24 cars and 1/64 cars and haulers that I won't hold my breath waiting for 1/48 models.  I do have to admit that I am guilty of contributing to their success with 1/24 cars.

K-Line  had a lot of tractor trailer units  I believe they were  1/47      the one I  managed to get my hands on   look fine with my Lionel   stuff 

do not know where those molds went  when K-line  stopped     too bad  Lionel or MTH  did not get  their hands on them 

For the scale folks, 1/48 or even 1/50 would be nice.  The 1/64 might work for those who are into O-27., and placed into the background.

because of the kind of trains I run at the club I would get the 1:48 cars.

The sad thing is the military modelers, for the most part, do not use scales near ours.  Maybe a plane or tank.  But things for modeling battless, like men, walls, houses and supplies are nowhere near ours.

I know it is based in the Korea "Police Action", but I expect Radar to come out of the metal field hospital building saying, "Incoming!", or the same over the 4077 PA system.
