Some help please!  I am adding the Lionel LCS system to my layout.  So far I have one LCS Wifi module, 3 Lionel LCS SER2 modules, 3 LCS sensor tracks, along with all necessary cables.  I have been Lionel all the way but would like to implement some MTH locomotives on my layout.  I am prepared to purchase the DCS Remote control System (50-1001) to get started.  However, I would like the ability to use Wifi for the MTH stuff.  I will need to purchase the MTH Cable 50-1032 and run it through one of the SER2 module serial ports.   Will this give me the ability to have Wifi, on the MTH stuff?  The diagram outlines how I'm looking to set up.  Do I still need to purchase the DCS WiFi module 50-1034 or can I use the Legacy WiFI?  Thanks.

To use DCS with WiFi you need the DCS WIU WiFi unit connected to the DCS TIU and of course the DCS App. The DCS App only works with the WIU.

The TIU connects to the SER2 via a serial cable as outlined in the drawing you posted.

The LCS WiFi is only for the LCS iPad app, iCab, LSU on a PC, and LCS partner Apps and programs.

Probably not what you want to do, but you can run your TMCC/Legacy engines with the full DCS app. They have even added some Legacy features to the app. As far as hooking it all up, I am not that familiar with the Lionel devices. I will defer to MartyE and the others that know how to do all of this. Barry has posted an info paper here somewhere about how all this connects. I believe that is where your drawing above came from so I am guessing you have that already.
