Is anyone using the Legacy 990 to control lights on buildings or other accessories? Is it preferable to keep lights on buildings and accessories on a separate transformer?
What powers the lights in immaterial as far as having command control of them. It's certainly preferable to keep accessories and lights on separate power supplies. In order to have command control of the lights, you'd want something like the Lionel SC2, that has six addressable 10A relays that you control from your TMCC/Legacy remote. This gives you independent control of up to six power sources.
