One of my new Lehigh Valley C420s, RN 414, will not program in or run. I knew I was in trouble when the engine stated up on its own before I programed it in. Engine is running with the marker lights on, but will not move. I do not believe it actually programmed in, as there was no beep when I hit the set button. Any suggestions? BTW, I had no issues with the other C420, RN 415. Thanks.

At the modular set up, we tried setting up my modular colleague Bill's  high hood, Long Island C420......same issue....could not program it. I took it home to try on my home layout. Same problem. Could not program it.

I can't do much electronically , but I can program a TMCC/Legacy engine......I guess it also goes back....

Too bad.....it's a nice looking engine.

Same here. Very disappointing. I also have a Susquehanna C420 I just received from Patrick's Trains and the METCA special run Susquehanna C420 on the way from Stu Rankin. Hoping I go 3 for 4 on the plus side. The Lehigh Valley C420 that will not program in will have to be returned to Mr. Muffin or Lionel, or I may have Joe Mania repair it.
