Sam, this engine is a gem. You made a very smart purchase. We love ours and it lived up to all of the advanced hype.

This locomotive earns the "Sleeper of the Year" award! While everybody was talking about VL BBs, the cab fwd quietly arrived at dealers and darn near stole the thunder!

Beautiful engine, I can understand your enthusiasm!,  A daylight and a black one, now you're just making me jealous  Good for you!!

Gotta agree with 86TA355SR,  these Cab Forwards do deserve the title of Sleeper of the Year!  i normally never make an impulse buy but in this case I made an exception and was pleasantly surprised to find myself running this loco much more often than my Big Boy and PE.

I would agree with the analysis of the Sleeper of the Year Award for the Cab Forward. Lionel hit a Grand Slam with it. It was greatly overshadowed by the Vision Line BB for good reason, but when the pavement hits the road, the Cab Forward will stand right up there. 

Love the paint scheme on this engine!!!!

What a way to introduce yourself to the Lionel product line!  Congrats on those beauties!  I'm sure they will provide years of enjoyment!
