I just have a quick question regarding the Lionmaster Big Boy with whistle steam. I am thinking of saving up some money to purchase this engine and wanted to know if there were any problems with this locomotive that you have experienced?

Love this engine. Have not had any difficulties or problems. Great sound, great action, fits on smaller diameter curves. If you van find one you should seriously consider purchase. You won't be disappointed.

I second all that. I have almost every Lionmaster and this one is the best.
Given the issues you've had with your atlantic, initially,Lionel did produce a legacy lionmaster bigboy without the whistle steam. Item # 6-11149
I believe as of right now Eastside Trains still has both models listed in stock in their CTT magazine ad.

Yeah I know what you're saying Rick. I'm just stubborn and to be frank Lionel's features have me hooked! I'll take the gamble!
