Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any photos of the Lionel item number 2031220 Legacy D&RGW 4-8-4? I was wondering what tender this locomotive was shipped with? It is shown in the catalog with the Santa Fe style oil tender, however I know that some of the other 4-8-4s were shipped with coal tenders. Anyone have any insight?

Grande used oil tenders?...first l heard of that .photos?..of this model, and a prototype? Next? C&O Mikado with oil tender?
I have not seen the product personally but I think it was one of the many locomotives that came with an NKP Berkshire coal tender instead of an SF oil tender. After the catalog came out Lionel realized that a good amount of the locomotives offered came with a coal tender instead of an oil tender. Here are two videos I made with both tenders to give you an idea. Hope this helps, and happy railroading!
That’s what I think as well, however I just haven't seen any pictures or videos of it in the flesh yet so I wasn’t sure.
I saw one at my LHS a couple months ago but don't remember what tender was behind it. I do recall it being very green.
Anyone have photos of this item, Lionel item number 2031220, Legacy Rio Grande 4-8-4? I'm not curious about the tender, I'm curious about the green used on the boiler. Want to see what shade of green it is.
