Once again the Legacy Users Group met at the Orange Hall Meeting room for our now annual fall meeting.

Once again I would like to thank the EDTCA for the room, Bob Phillips for presenting the TM Videos and Book, John Will for covering some info on the DM Signal Booster, and Dave Slie for the Video Recording.

I would also like to thank the LCS partners who keep adding to Legacy and LCS for our continued enjoyment.  I would encourage you to check them out and support their efforts.

I would also like to than Dave Olson, Dean Brasseur, and Rudy Trubitt for all of their expertise in answering questions.  Although none of them could attend, they were missed at the meeting.  These gentlemen have always been available to us to answer questions and supply information.

Finally thanks to all who attended and participate.  We all share the enjoyment of Legacy and we all learn from each other.

Before I post the video, some folks needed some additional information on a few LCS components so I want to add that here.

Here is the document Rudy sent us for saving the LCS information from the iPad for backup as well as information for the LCS partners.

LCS Backup

High Rail App

eTrain Console

The first is the PDI coupler.  This joins 2 PDI cables together so they can be extended.

691JOINA00

The next item is the PDI filter.  This is added to the end of the PDI chain when folks are having issues arming sensor tracks to record.

Here is a Lionel Document on its use.

I am still looking to get information on a supplemental power supply for LCS when, in the unlikely event, the standard supply is maxed out.

There were a few questions asked that I was hoping would be on the video but unfortunately the audio didn't pick them up.  If you have any additional questions let me know and I'll get you the answer from Lionel.

Here is the video from the meeting...

The capacitor is marked "103" which is a 10 nF (0.01uF) and it shows 10.2 nF on an LCR meter.

With the smooth side of the connector up and the pins facing you the capacitor is in the 4th and 5th pins

There is a short black wire in the 1st pin on the left side. I believe its purpose is to help you pull the connector out.

Pins 2 and 3 are empty. The connector goes in the last LCS module or sensor track socket.

Thanks!  I thought we had this conversation before but couldn't find it.
