I am interested in these and wondering has anyone tried removing one light so the pole only has one light on it instead of 2. My thinking is can you pull the light out of the pole and maybe use it in the non-lighted set 6-37939. Growing up all the poles on our street only had one light on them. The only place I remember seeing two light on a pole was on the island on a boulevard road.

The light poles have two sets of wires. One for each light, so I don't see why you couldn't do what your thinking.

Yeah, I remember thinking the 2 lights were very strange when these came out.

Their goofiness was the inspiration to wire my own set of Weaver poles.
