Looking for a sound card for tender in 1983 Southern Pacific GS-4 steam engine and tender set (#6-8307). I believe the part number is 8306-T-20. Was told Lionel does not offer part anymore because of age. Cannot find it in any parts store. Any suggestions on where to locate a working card or have the one I have repaired? Thanks. Tom

I'd think that you'll probably have to do something like use one of the 3rd party sound cards to upgrade it. ERR has some nice steam sounds for conventional operation. You likely have the SOS board, you can have much better sound nowadays.

Give Jeff a call at The Train Tender. He is shipping to me a similar sound board.

He may have what you need, or offer a replacement board.
