Some of these bumpers are stamped on the bottom  as being made in Hong Kong others are stamped MACAO ( China, i presume). Any other variations-both seem to be exactly the same-any subtle differences? Finally-there is a 2283 bumper with "Track 29  LCCA 1994 Chattanooga" stamped on its top-anybody know about these bumpers-were they boxed, when during that convention were they handed out, did they come in pairs as the normal 2283s were?  thanks in advance-P Hering

There are a bunch of variations on the 2283’s over the years — manufacturing location (Hong Kong, Macao and China), many different packaging changes, etc. Track down Railbear601 on here - he’s documented many different versions. 

The LCCA Track 29 Bumper actually has a “real” Lionel number — 6-52039. They were distributed singly in bubble wrap to everyone that attended the 1994 Chattanooga convention.
