I have the 0-4-0 switcher from the Yard Chief set, as referenced above. I noticed when I was running it that the smoke is not coming out of the stack, but rather trying to come out near the bottom in the vicinit of the steam chest. I took the locomotive apart, and the only thing I could figure is that the smoke stack is clogged -- probably the batting. However, it doesn't look like this smoke unit comes apart, or at least not willingly. Anyone have any ideas or experience on how to get the smoke unit apart? Or is it just time to replace it?
