I don't know if this has been posted before, but I've just noticed that this really cool neon sign is now available from the Lionel webshop. I thought that some members might be interested.

I'm not very interested at $314.99. I'll stick with the miniature signs by Miller.

It's a big sign though Dennis. (22" diameter.)
Beautiful sign and I would love to have one. That said, I have spent a lot of money with Lionel on preordering from the new catalog. Maybe later.
Thanks for sharing this.

Jim Sutter is right on the money with his suggestion.
And Nicole, you are the best in terms of research and finding new products. Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention.
That's a great looking sign. A bit spendy, but that is one BIG hunk of neon. I don't have any place to put it, but I've still got my Century Club clock. It wasn't cheap, but I haven't seen one for sale in years and I bet if one went up for sale on the Bay it would go for big bucks.
In the world of lighting, I can't think of any medium that exudes mood more aptly than neon. It's a variable rainbow of intense colors forged into limitless forms. Arguably the king of advertising art. It' nostalgic nature is irresistible and powerful, the reason perhaps, with great thanks to Miller Engineering, that we enjoy it with model railroads.
Having said, what could be better than Lionel rendered in neon? Thanks all for the great examples of Lionel neon. Here's a fun one, not mine though, but wish it was.

That's a nice neon; must be a VisionLine neon because it has the cylinder steam effect! I've never seen that one.
marsrover:
The Centennial Sign is a classic. One of the nicest Lionel signs I have come across! This is a treasure for you.
Lou Polumbo at the, Underground Railroad is selling Lionel clocks. I like the clock, however, I dislike the $350.00 price tag.
Everyone keep the photos coming

VisionLine neon, now that's an idea. I'm very envious of your Lionel neon, especially the Centennial. It has everything. I have a modest collection of more common neon that hints at another hobby, but no Lionel. You have inspired me.
Here's another that I found, not sure it's Lionel though.
tca etrain article with some neon clocks:

Hey, that Lionel sign in the etrain article looks familiar:
Now THAT's a collection of clocks! Nice. The CC one with the row of locomotives is still my favorite, but there are some great ones in that bunch.
That's one awesome collection of Lionel clocks you have there, Alan! I especially love the neon clocks. I'll need to track one down for my own train room…perhaps will find something at York this time around since I really have nothing in particular on my "train wish list."
There was a neon sign in the CEO's office at the Lionel Headquarters in NC. Is this the same one?
