Bad news on my Legacy NW2. It won't move and I'm not sure why. I'm not going to void the warranty by opening it up @Dave Olson anything you can suggest before I send it out? Also will I have to pay shipping to send it to you or do you cover that? One question on the model, is there a place to install a battery? It's not mentioned in the manual. Thanks guys I really want this engine to run right. Been wanting this for a long time.  https://youtu.be/yYOqZqefEWA

Dave Olson is director of engineering. You should have tried calling Lionel service. Also, it looks like you asked forum members for suggestions on resolving your problem (which may be something very simple); Marty responds 9 minutes later but you've already boxed up the engine for shipping, so you can't try any suggested solutions. So why did you bother asking?

He was asking about my legacy system. The engine is sitting on my shelf. I'll call service about it after my legacy gets back from getting fixed.

It looks like your getting the 1 cab light blink motor driver stall diagnostic code. Just after the :08 mark on your video the cab light blinks once 3 times consecutively. There could be something binding in the driveline.

Number of Blinks Diagnostic Code Description
1 Main drive motor stalled.
2 Smoke 1 element problem.
3 Smoke 1 fan problem.
