This freshly painted unit will pull coaches on the Metra's (Chicago) Milwaukee District. And yes we know Milwaukee's suburban E-units were Armour Yellow. These aren't E-units and the orange looks like it was made for this locomotive. I'd even have it pull Milwaukee coaches.

Yep, I would be in for the Charger. I am guessing that MTH will be doing it eventually, they do a lot of Amtrak locos.
Is that diagonal stripe from the nose brown or raspberry or violet?

Here’s the link to the Facebook announcement posted by Metra on Jan. 4. The locomotive is designated an MP36 and the scheme is in classic Milwaukee Road colors of orange and maroon.
Yes - if someone makes an MPX I'll buy it. Sometimes called "Little Bullet Trains", I've heard; I love the look. Similar to an FP59PHI, but sleeker, I'd say.
