I need a couple of electronic e units for Lionel starter set engines.
Listed are the 610-0103-100 and 610-8719-103 (slow).
One is $24 and the other is $15. Does anyone know if they are interchangeable? What does 'slow' mean?

I noticed a few days ago Lionel raised the price of some parts. The electronic reverse units were 18.00. till last week, now 24.00. LionChief controllers were 20.00, now 22.00.
The 8719-103 is used in Thomas and James, Slow means they load slow, so there is a delay in operation so the engine won't Jack Rabbit start and derail.
