Lionel Peanuts Halloween LionChief? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I've never really looked at the Lionel LionChief trains, but really want a PEANUTS themed Halloween train. Does anyone have any experience with this system? I plan to purchase the two extra train cars that Lionel produces, but don't even know if they will work with the LionChief system. I've only ever run trains with the traditional 80 watt transformer, so opinions are welcome about LionChief vs Traditional train sets.

Thanks GRAMPSTRAINS. I guess I'm more interested in what people think of the whole LionChief setup. I love the pre-installed sound effects, so I think I'll give it a try.

I don't have a Lion Chief set, but from what I've been reading is that folks here are pretty much pleased with it.

I have this set and like it. it has Halloween sounds with a push of a button.
