I was excited to receive this today. Classic PW tooling with upgraded Plug & Play connectivity. LED lights!

Does it work?

I have one ordered, going to pick it up today, and looking forward to seeing it on the layout.
It works similar to the PW without the hassle of the track trip. The wires plug easier into the insulated or trip track. Will work on tubular as well.
The question still stands. Does it work?
When the train enters the insulated section of track...yes it turns from green to red. I am sure someone could get creative and build a real track block system as well.

how is the led brightness?
i ask because the previous version from lionel used weak christmas tree lights while the original postwar, and current mth uses the larger, brighter bulbs.
Also by using the block alone, do both red and green light up unlike using a relay that turns off one led and just lights the other.
I can't compare the brightness to previous releases but to me it has the normal brightness of the 1990s Lionel Semaphore. It goes from Green to Red just like the Block Target signal which has been around for a while off and on.

Mike;
The instruction manual isn't on line - does it explain how to use the bridge without the plug & play cables? Can they be easily removed to allow more conventional wiring?
Thanks.
I'm curious as to what fastrack piece you would need for it to plug into.
What is the width of this structure, to fit my layout, the width needs to be 10 inches.

Yeah I'm wondering that myself. Just a normal plug and play Fastrack or an accessory activator pack?
Would you recommend ?> !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it would be easier for OP to put up a video before he gets another 100 questions lol
A video would be great, thanks for mentioning it Coldstone

I had a previous post about the Red Signal not turning green. After calling Lionel, they have a mistake in the directions for hooking up to a Plug n Play terminal. The Terminal MUST be on the SAME SIDE as the Breaks in the Fastrack. The directions show the opposite.
Like all Lionel accessories? Shocking!
