I asked Matt Ashba how the new Plug n Play can be powered.  He showed me the the power cord.  It has a plug at the end and two different pigtails that plug into it.  One of course plugs into Fastrack, hense, Plug n Play.  The other pigtail has exposed wires that can be attached to thumbnuts or or other clips that provide power.

The accessories can be powered from Fastrack or any other power source, as always.  They covered the bases.

redball342,

I designed the original plug and play. Lionel is trying to go around me. That's beside the point, If you are looking for a board to activate your accessories, via DCS or lionels ACS, you may be interested in my board its not connected to the track and can be put at the control area, it has 10 connections for accessories where you are limited when it comes to lionel's. Check out my forum under EIU, Electronic Interface unit. I sell my boards for $42 plus shipping which is $10, I will also include 3 of the cables for free at the lengths you request.
