I have a Lionel Postwar 621 Jersey Central Diesel that has a horn that was working fine and than one day, just stopped working. The battery is good, all wires are attached and I tried to repair the horn following the advice previously listed in this forum to no avail (see Attachment). Any suggestions for repairing this horn?

Watched a video on u-tube, tried the method and it has worked for me. I have done 4 horns this way. One did not work as the coil inside was bad. Others on the forum may have a better way. Hope they weigh in on this. I would like to know if their is a better method.

I watched the video. What's the best way to open the tabs (without breaking them) on the horn cover? They are very stubborn on mine.
