Lionel Pullmor Type II Power Truck?

Did the type II integrated power truck debut on the Erie SD40 from 1984? And were these trucks all built around a diecast block rather than the stamped steel of the 4 -wheel version of the integrated truck?

Thanks! Looks like the 6 wheel trucks were stamped metal until perhaps the late 80's or 90's. Maybe the Burlington was the first to have diecast.
