I have a copy of it mounted on the wall to the basement where the trains are supposed to be located (they're actually all over the house).  We bought it about 20 years ago.  It's nice puzzle, quite large.  There was a write up about the photo of the collection it was taken from in CTT a long time ago.  If I can find the reference I will post more info.

The puzzle is a Hallmark product under the brand name Springbok, which was a puzzle making company that was acquired by Hallmark sometime in the 70's if I remember correctly.  I do not recall the specifics about the picture, but I think the trains are from a collection in the Kansas City area.  Just a note about this puzzle and manufacturing operations, the lithographed sheets are printed on large sheets that have 3 or 4 copies of the picture, then are cut down to individual size and laminated to the puzzle board.  They then are diecut to final size, broken into individual pieces and boxed in a single operation.  I worked at the Lawrence Hallmark plant where puzzles are produced, and perhaps even helped in the production of this puzzle during my time in the cutting area production department.

I have the box in front of me. The title of the puzzle is "On The Right Track Lionel Trains". The side panel says "Springbok By Hallmark". "1500 INTERLOCKING PIECES, 28 3/4 IN. x 36 IN. ASSEMBLED, PZL9026". And at the botton of the end flap "LIONEL (R), Licensed by Lionel Trains, INC. (C) 1994 Hallmark Cards, Inc. "Lionel Train Collection courtesy of The Lamberts." (C) Halmark Cards, Inc. Kansas City, MO 64141, Made in U.S.A. RES. PHOTO"

The one we had was missing a peice at the very bottom. We contacted Hallmark and was told the puzzle was out of print.

Nice puzzle.

Mine is completed and framed on the family room wall.

It was given to me by my ex (back in happier times), and my kids and I put it together one weekend about ten or more years ago.

It was stored on a large piece of cardboard under the bed in the spare bedroom for a few years. Then one day I decided to vaccuum under the bed, and swoosh, about two dozen pieces went up the vacuflow. I found them all and then decided it was time to have it framed.
