So what happened? I posted for the first time about issues I had with my new Lionel Fastrack switches and now the thread is gone. Others were talking about engine issues with Lionel. Is it forbidden to share problems here or there some taboo about pointing out problems with Lionel products?

Yes, as Lionel is a Forum Sponsor. Thus it is "forbidden".
Yes. Only happy thoughts. Actually that thread was up for a long time given the content.

I don't think it's allowed. I've had enough of threads of Lionel's quality control, and I'm sure many others can agree. Seems like just about every thread about anything Lionel anymore dives into an argument over their bad quality control.
Did no one read Alan's Sticky post at the top of every section?
The thread in question did last for several days as people were talking calmly. Then the sarcasm started, along with some not so subtle jabs at people. Alan has said he's tired of doing surgery on the offending posts, so from now on, the entire thread gets nuked.

That is pure BS! And I am surprised Jack that you would comment that way....

David...thanks for taking the time to read my sticky....looks like not enough people have done so yet. No problems with pointing out problems but when the thread starts to get personal...and political like the one did to which is being referred, zap!
