Actually, isn't it a bit later, early November?
The weekend of November 6th.
From the Lionel website...
Lionel 2020 Warehouse sale information.

Thanks Marty. That's exactly what I was looking for! You Awesome!
Thanks Marty. What you going to buy me
@Pingman posted:@MartyE, I went looking for the item you posted on LIONEL's website and couldn't find it. Finally, I used the search term "Newstand" and it came right up.
It was not on the LIONEL home page or the home page for Service. If I'm mistaken about that, let me know, please.
The link worked for me. Basically it’s the same info I posted.

Marty, I was making the observation that before you posted your link, I'd tried to find the same info on LIONEL's website and was unable to until I did the search using the "Newstand" as the search term. The point of my post was that the announcement of the Parts Sale was not easy to find on the LIONEL home page or the Service Dept. page.
Marty,
Send Chris some used Traction tires, I'll send him his 'Leather Obsession' smoke fluid back to him....

Ok. I get it now. It was buried a bit.

That's my favorite scent, it goes with the Harley.
I'll miss the warehouse sale. 4 of us went down from this area and had a great time each and every time. Better than York in many ways. There's always next year though.
Noticed on the Lionel website several part numbers for the R2LC. Which one is the one provided in the ERR kits?
The R4LC boards listed from Lionel will not work on ERR boards. This is explained on the Allaboardtrains1 website.
Ordered what I could online, some parts are not listed. Called was on hold but got kicked off. Will try again.
My mistake - meant R2LC
I have tried the links mentioned above, with some success. More help needed . Is 30 in. fastrack on sale? If yes, where do I find it on the sale pages.
Thanks
Brent
It's a parts sale no merchandise. Although they are having a virtual warehouse sale on Lionel's Store page. You might have luck there.

I was told by Jon Z years ago it has to be CO-8 code to work.

I got my order in!
Got my order in last night right after midnight. From previous years' experience, I learned not to wait until Sunday. By that time there are 100's of orders in front of yours, and the website may be down too!
@modeltrainsparts posted:Noticed on the Lionel website several part numbers for the R2LC. Which one is the one provided in the ERR kits?
The R4LC-C08 provided with the ERR kits is functionally identical to the R2LC-C08 on the Lionel site, they have the same firmware. The R4LC is backward compatible with the R2LC if using the same firmware on each.
Well I just got an order in for a couple Pittman motors and flywheels, plus some switch machines for our older 022 switches that I plan on converting. Great deal!
Wow, I already have a tracking number for my parts order! And for the first time in a decade, they responded to a "Talk to Us" email! I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Must be a celestial effect from last week's "blue moon".
Had to call due to parts not listed on the website for my J3. Tried twice, on hold for over 15 minutes then they dump your call. So no joy
How difficult is it to modify the software so that the order confirmation screen does NOT say I will get an email confirmation when, in fact, I won't? Same message from last year; 12 mos. is enough time to fix this minor text error.
That's an observation; not a complaint.
Personally, I'm grateful to LIONEL for the sale. It definitely makes some projects feasible for me that would not be at full price.
THANK YOU, LIONEL!!!

Oh good! Now I know Im not the only one! I also tried to print out the Parts listing that I purchased and The software would NOT allow me to do it. I only got a printout of the confirmation number.

If you have a "My Lionel" account on their website you can get a printout of your parts order. Go to it; click "service;" in the next screen click "Part Order History;" in the next screen you should see your current order; click on the "view details" tab for that order; and, you should see a list of your ordered parts on the next screen.
You'll see a "Print" icon in the upper right of your part order list--click on it and get your parts list printout. I just did it (for my order of course) and it worked.
Good luck.

Save a tree, no need to print it. A copy will arrive with your order. You can log on to verify your order has been placed, also track progress as it will say "pending", then "processing", then "shipped". When shipped you will see a tracking number. They still have a glitch on that department as most orders are shipped USPS but the link goes to UPS and generates an error. Copy the number and go to the USPS site to track the order.

I save the tree when I can, but you can simply save a screen shot so you have a record of what you ordered.
Perhaps someone here can help me. I have a NYC Bay Window Caboose, road #20200, with a smoke unit that apparently has died. I believe it is a Seuthe unit and of course they are not available at Lionel. Anyone have a lead to where I can buy one or a suitable replacement?
Thanks in advance.
Mike
Mike, it's not a Seuthe smoke unit. It's a multi-part affair that has several plastic pieces with a smoke resistor and wick inside.
Got my order in last night.

Thanks John, kind of an interesting set up. It has an on/off switch, I have to think it’s the resistor since there’s not much else to go wrong.

What you are (not) seeing might be normal. The smoke output is pretty pathetic with a 68 ohm resistor. Trouble is you put a lower value one in there and you risk melting the body. A Suethe unit would be an upgrade.
Pete
I am so glad I double checked the dates! My Polar Railroad GP7 needed two boards and a headlight. I have been waiting for this sale all year! Looks like there may be time to get this fixed before the display at the Science Museum.

Pete, you are correct but there’s nothing now. I opened it up this afternoon, powered it up and the resistor is cool to the touch, nothing, nada... is it possible for it to burn out?
Mike
I guess it can burn out but I would suspect a switch if there is one or a broken wire. You need to check things out with an ohmmeter to be sure.
Pete
Is the smoke switch on? It's not likely the resistor.
