It is a jpg. (image) file! Next to worthless.

Gary, I had the same results with the link you provided; i.e., Ctrl-F (search) does not work, since it is an image file.

I guess 'let your fingers do the walking', or in this case, 'let your eyes do the searching'.

The descriptions of the BTO E6 Atlantic engines are of the Milwaukee S3 Northern...not the Atlantics.

I just hope all you folks who ordered the new passenger cars saved  your pennies all these months (years).  Looks like a TON of stuff is arriving Stateside between now and the end of the year -- especially a boatload of 21" passenger cars in December.    Ouch!!!

Well I ordered the Hybrid Santa Fe 2-8-2 engine and looks like it will not be available until later in the winter 2018 so I will be good...

I only have the U.P. Excursion set coming in.

Hybrid will be in December of this year, not 2018.

We're pushing to have the milk cars make the year, but they may slip to Jan or Feb.

They're in Romania, and that factory is working hard on the rotary gondolas right now to try to get those in this year.

No, they'll be in probably later December via air freight. Had part procurement issues that delayed it. They'll make the year though.

Well, while it certainly isn't ideal, how long can it take to visually scan the descriptions to find want you want? I found my S2 "scale tinplate" set fairly quickly just by looking.

But - I do think that an item # sequence would probably be more useful for more people, but then somebody wants it in description order, and some still want it in date order...

I doubt it.  People have the best intentions.  Then they buy a few things "on sale" from forum sponsors, then splurge a bit at York and Allentown, then bang!!! Lionel delivers 75% of the Signature Catalog Vol 1 in Nov/Dec.  

Happens every year.

As for 21" cars, I think the shipping schedule still lists the American Freedom Train display cars as 21".  But I recall reading those will be produced as 18" in length, since they're based on baggage cars.  That's one of the reasons I'm getting them -- aside from the fact I like them too.    Otherwise 21" cars are just gonna be too large for my new layout.  I may keep my El Capitan, California Zephyr, Amtrak Zephyr, and Texas Special cars for display and an occasional run on the outer loop.  But that's it for me in the 21" department.  I've sold a couple of 21" sets already, and will have another one (3rd Rail's ESE) listed as part of the updates to my Layout Demolition Sale for Allentown.
