Happens to me every year, I have completed my order and paid then realize I forgot to order something. Is there a way to "amend" or "cancel" an order without calling Lionel tomorrow ? Need to get it done before the deadline tonight. j

Nope, none that I know of. When it's done, it's done. You can call, I don't know how they handle that.

Call - I’ve done it before...Remember, the mess up with pricing...I would send a email before the cutoff with the changes you want made.. to customer service. Then call on Monday. At least
it’s a half price mistake..
"it’s a half price mistake.. " Your right only cost an additional $10. I do like to order a minimum of 4-5 items to spread the shipping cost. Thanks gentlemen. j

After reading this thread, I got off the fence and decided to buy one more of each of two parts on the order I placed earlier. Did as suggested: sent email referencing my order number and what I wanted added to it, if possible.
I suspect GRJ is correct, though--the original order is not going to be changed. In my case, LIONEL has already sent me the USPS tracking number for my original order, so I think that ship has sailed so to speak.
I'll be fine if they simply give me the sale price and a standard shipping fee since the parts are themselves worth getting now at 1/2 off.
I’ve ordered and then remembered more to order. It’s a mental exercise...pretend it’s months later for another shipping. Funny how 10 bucks seems big and engines cost $1200.
A psychologist wrote about that once. Would you go out of your way to save $10 on a $50 item? Would you if it were a $10,000 item?
If I had to wait till next November I would go ahead and buy the parts now but if I could spend 20 minutes asking if someone knew something that I didn't I would ask first. j
Just place a new order before the deadline (if it already hasn't passed). Yeah, you'll have to pay shipping for the additional order, but that is what it is.
