Want to add a baggage car to my Lionel Super Chief train...did Lionel ever make a red striped aluminium Santa Fe baggage car???
Or is my best bet a SF baggage car with no stripes???

No to both your questions, at least not in the aluminum 2500 series.

Even though Lionel didn't make them, the repro parts guys sell reproduction stripes for the 2500 Santa Fe cars. I added Canadian Pacific stripes to an RPO that didn't have them. You might have to trim some around the baggage doors.
If these are not 2500 cars you could always paint and decal the stripes.
