Recently purchased used one off eBay. Wired according to instructions. Logs barely move into chamber but will with a little primping. Boards do not come out other side at all. Took apart and looked at belt/ spool they seem in alignment and appear brand new. Thoughts?

Raise the voltage?

Quick sidenote, I'd suggest adding more detail to the title - eg, "Lionel Sawmill not functioning properly". Many will probably see this post with its current title in the sidebar and ignore it thinking it's a for-sale listing.
As for the issue itself, I'm not familiar with operating accessories but could it be a power issue? I recall a video done by Lionel where they noted that if you don't have enough power set to the track (eg, running an engine slow in conventional operation), accessories may not operate as expected, or even not at all. What power supply are you using? Could it be far away from the transformer?
Voltage all the way up. Using a ZW transformer
Look up Sean’s trains cars robots on YouTube. He has a videos about fixing it. I did the same and mine works perfectly now. You have to file down an edge of the metal plate so the boards slide down.

It would help if we had a Lionel product number as there were many versions of the sawmill and some are designed differently inside.
Thanks to all for help and suggestions on the Lionel 464 sawmill. After further disassembling I discover the belt is not turning, hence not able to pull logs. Motor replacement, belt adjustment or.......? Still trying!
