Lionel shows these as UNAVAILABLE, any ideas where else to look???

Those are so fragile .. I replaced them on my legacy NYC f3s 

Why don't you look for some brass replacements instead of plastic?

I would bet if you called them you might get lucky.  Many times when something is tagged unavailable and they come back in stock the list does not get updated.  We get many at a time and they always seem to be good.

They should have the longer ones available and they look much better anyway. If you really want those "stubbys" and can't find them let me know. I might have some in the parts bin if I didn't throw them away. I replace all mine with the full length versions.

Let us know what Lionel says!  I've been looking for the same part for my Canadian Pacific F3 AA's.  And what's the part # for "the long ones"?   I want to see what they look like comparatively.
