My local train shop sent my engine into Lionel to replace/repair my sound board on my PRR GP-30. They've had it now for about three weeks. What kinda of time frame should I be looking at to get it back in my hands??

I wouldn't expect it before the 4th of July, and probably after, Service dept is moving this month. Unless they pump out all the repairs they have in-house beforehand.

What vintage is your GP-30? I have plenty of RS4 or RS5 sound boards, so if the sound chips are still good, I could get you going right now.
I’m traveling for work, not sure of the vintage but the engine is from the PRR Coal Train Set 2006. Has the radio antenna around the top.

It's an RS5 engine.
