Lionel Superliner "flush fitting" windows | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I recently acquired Lionel superliner cars. (6-29165)
Upon initial inspection, they appear new. Whoever had them clearly opened them at some point but it seems that they were never run. The only problem is that many windows are loose. I found many inside the styrofoam box. Has anyone else run into this issue? Is this common?I'm considering just supergluing them back into their position, but is that unwise?

I was also surprised at the stark differences between the MTH models and the Lionel models, but I didn't know there was such a variety in the bodies of prototypical Superliners until today.
MTH is Phase 3, Lionel is Phase 4

Don't use CA Adhesive, it clouds the plastic! Use canopy glue, I use Tester's Clear Parts Cement.
