I am enthralled with the two LC+ switchers I have.
I have been posting a lot about the new LC+2.0 Docksider Brooklyn Eastern District Transportation (BEDT) steam switcher, which I use for light loads because of its small motor. Light loads means a consist of up to 4 modern train cars with fast angle wheels and caboose, or up to 2 Postwar operating cars plus caboose:
For heavy loads, I use this LC+ Erie Camelback steam switcher which is scale in size, weighs a ton, and can pull much longer industrial freight consists:
Both can run slow and smooth and their electrocouplers operate well. They are also relatively affordable compared to Lionel Legacy and Visionline and MTH Premier switchers.
If you are so inclined, you can share your experience with your Lionel switchers.
