Lionel TankTrain "A-End" Car | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

What is different about the "A-end" car of the Lionel TankTrain? Does it have additional unloading equipment detail? I recently bought some of the "Intermediate" add-on sets, and I know the "B-end" car has the End-of-Train device (which I don't necessarily need). Just trying to figure out where the "A-end" car fits into the scheme of things. Thanks!

The A-end only has one hose connection at the end of the car. It starts the hose interconnections between all the cars, the intermediates continue the connections from both ends of the car, and the B-end has one connection as well that ends the connections. It also has the ETD as you mentioned.
