Lionel track with no stamp of origin?

Guys,

Since I have cobbled together my layout from many track sources, I have three different types of Lionel 031. One type is stamped Lionel N.Y., another is stamped Lionel China, but another is just stamped Lionel, with no city or country of origin that I can find. This type of track looks very recently made, or at least the small batches I bought.

This stuff gives me problems. Not very malleable, rather sticky (harder) metal.

Any idea where it was made?
