Lionel Union Pacific Excursion Expansion Set (1927050)

I have found no issues with this current set. They look great. I’ll take some pictures to fight when I get home. If I remember correctly after that first 7 cars that factory shut down so these would be coming out of a different factory now

Got the new set no problems. Cars came apart easy to put people in . That makes ten cars including the theater car. No problem with the paint on any of them.

Very encouraging. The 4 and 2 packs I've gotten were flawless as far as paint go, which I know was not the norm for the first run. Glad to hear everything got straightened around.

On my expansion set the Harbor Mist Gray is slightly lighter than the gray used on the original UP set.

I kinda thought they seemed lighter. I haven’t had a chance to check with my excursion cars yet.

I observed the same light shade. Other than that no issues. Considering they were made at a totally different location the shade is not an issue. 

So I can confirm the slightly lighter shade. Hard to tell from my first picture. No flaws on the cars themselves but I did notice the lack of stainless steel paint on the Columbine dome trim. Shown also is the Challenger from the last run. Not sure if it’s true to prototype or not. 

It seems correct from the UP Excursion page but I see other pictures of it on the rails with chrome details. 

I’m sure someone will be torn up about it, I like the variation between similar cars.
