I have a postwar 275 watt ZW that I've acquired that I am thinking of selling for $150. I plugged it in and noticed it does not hum like all other transformers I've owned. It does meter out on all four outputs at 20.7 volts. Am I correct in assuming from what I've researched, that all the laminations are tight which is is the reason for no hum?

Can't answer that question, but I'd be interested in purchasing it dependent on the condition of the shell
Working and no hum is exactly what you want, so would a buyer.

Correct. It was built as it was supposed to be built. The plates are tight and the coating and the windings are per spec....
