Lionel/Sequoia O/027 Track?

Hi,

Will the, (Electric Train Systems), Sequoia Lumber Train run properly on Lionel O Curve or Lionel O-27 three rail track?

I was told that the optimal curve track is 0-54 and the minimum curve track is O-45.

I have a Lionel #2037 Loco that pulls nine freight cars and it runs fine on my oval layout under the Christmas Tree. (two straight tracks between curve tracks on end of oval) and (four straight tracks between the curves on each of the sides of the oval).

Does anyone want to chime in on this?
