DUMB question here:  I have a Lionmaster Cab forward. If the smoke unit was shut off with a cab 1 would the fan still operate?

I only have conventional transformer but am unable to get any smoke out of the loco, smoke switch is "ON" position, fan is operating with fluid and fluid is not blocking hole = No smoke.

Maybe it was just a loose connection.

Hopefully thats all it was, some of the lionmaster locos had defective smoke unit regulators. I believe OGR did a review on this loco and mentioned poor smoke output on their test unit. I had a tmcc lionmaster challenger that would smoke sometimes and sometimes none at all. One day it smoked like crazy and burned up the resistor. It was a faulty smoke unit regulator,Lionel has these in stock for like $12 or $15 if need be.
