Anyone have updates on some of the Long Island RR Alco FA restorations from their old cab control cars? From what I recall there were Lehigh & New England, Spokane, Portland & Seattle and Pennsy units being restored.

Paul,
One of those units is Western Maryland #302. It is currently awaiting it's restoration at the West Virginia Railroad Museum.
Also, WM FA2 #303 is on the Georges Creek Railway.
I forgot about that WM FA. I remember that one was painted in WM "Fireball" scheme and was being used for awhile with an F unit until it was restored.
Aren't there two in CT. One at Thomason and one at Danbury?

The last I heard, the 303 and GP9 25 are still in Barton, MD.
@ Silver Lake The only one I recall was the NH FA that was cosmetically restored at the Valley RR in Essex, CT back in the 90s. I believe they were waiting on traction motors because it had the Alco prime mover.
There are a few out there that are being actively restored. It would be nice to get some info.
