Am doing an under the bed storage layout where space will be a premium. Using AnyRail 6 for my draft and plan. When I check the "footprint" of any accessory I want to use, what is listed on Lionel's official site as "dimensions" is absolutely wrong...not even close!
Is there a good source for actual footprint dimensions for Lionel Accessories??...not worried about height per se as any tall pieces I cannot permanently attach I will uses Plug Expand Play connections
Am going to go with a 54 x 72 layout which can easily slide under a large bed I have. Goal will be to pull it out from under the bed....set up any tall pieces and have the entire trainset running in under 15 minutes.
But I also don't want a "barren" setup. I like a lot of animated stuff on my layouts.
Any ideas or help appreciated.
