Sorry I missed it, Rob; I always enjoy chatting with you!  Our DIL was rear-ended and I spent most of the day at the hospital (she's pregnant, and OB wanted to ensure placenta etc was ok - she is...). Our son was taking his 737 type-rating check ride that morning so she didn't want to tell him until afterward! So Betty baby-sat their daughter while I did ER duty.

The ex - New Haven FL9 looks terrific.  I am glad that it is well cared for.  Who would have guessed that these unique engines would have moved from New England to Texas?  Long live the FL9!   NH Joe

I saw this item in this thread, and remembered these pictures. A buddy and I rode the TexRail line back on January 25, 2019, from the old T&P station to the airport, just to check out the new train service. I saw these New Haven FL9s out the window as we went by and took a couple pictures. At the time, I couldn't understand why these would be sitting in this yard outside Ft. Worth. Now I know what they were doing there!
