I looked for answers on this forum but I found none - so, is it possible to convert the sounds on a Legacy SD70ACe from 2011 (NS Fictional Heritage #1907) to one of MTH's SD70ACe ProtoSound 2 or 3 sounds with the DCS TIU? No offense to Lionel enthusiasts, but the horn on it sounds like a church organ. Why don't they put more effort into their sounds?
If there isn't a way to do it with the DCS TIU, is there an alternative, like Lionel's version of the MTH DCS Consumer Loader? I have a few other diesels I'd like to swap sounds with, as it's mostly the horn that bugs me:
- The Legacy Amtrak Dash-9 (#517, Phase IV) horn sounds like a Leslie A200 but with chords (and doesn't sound like a K3LA or K5LA at all).
- The Legacy Conrail SD80MAC (#4120) horn sounds like the Dash-9, but at a higher pitch.
