Local Greenberg Shows Compared

Buy a painters light and paint in the evening after the train show.

One good reason...the Feb. 6&7 Timonium show will have the National Capital Trackers set up for the first time.

    I do not know how either the Timonium or York Greenberg shows are as I have never been at either. I can tell you last weeks Edison show was great one of the best this year as far as purchases and deal making with vendors. The crowds were very large and a lot  of new vendors as far as I could see. I saw my good friend Alex at the show and had a real good time.

in case I go and you don't...I'll give ya "report" on how the show turned out. After Oct York, I'm kinda tapped out $$wise, so I may go for the "re York" experience!

I have not been to either one in a few years however I feel that the Timonium show was always bigger than the York show.  Is there such a thing as a bad train show?

Consider this: Monday morning the paint job will still be there, the train show will be gone !!

If history repeats itself, Timonium will have more modular layouts. Plus, you'll get the "pre-Christmas Buzz".

Oh, there can be bad trains shows, not worth the walk through, UNLESS you find just

one thing you are looking for; then it immediately morphs into a "good train show".

That's the lure of Timonium in December Joe, that Christmas feel to the whole thing. I'm going to try and knock this painting out before Saturday, I've already requested off at work for Thursday and Friday and right now I'm taking a break from painting 6 doors, I hate painting doors, they're almost as bad as all the trim. But I really don't want to break from tradition with my grandson and that's the driving motivation right now since this past Thanksgiving he asked if we were still going to the train show this year. I guess any train show could be fun but this is one I really don't want to miss.
