I have a railking imperial sf northern. At first I did not like the whistle. But over time I think it grew on me.I like the whistle now.It starts out kinda like a high tone then gets deeper.I wish mth would make more southeastern railroads.I mean beside acl and southern.Seaboard air line is one railroad thats over looked.Hey mike how about a m2 mountain type locomotive in seaboard.HINTHINT.Has anybody ever had a locomotive that at first you didn,t like the whistle? But over time you grown to like it.

Some times it takes time for you to come to like it.A lot of trains nowadays are recorded from the real thing.I have a ns early dash 8 that sounds like electric alarm clock buzzer. But it will pull a good sized train.I can tell you the whorse whistle I have ever heard. Is the lionel steam whistle boxcar.Sheeesh sounds like a horn trying to sound  like a steam whistle.
