What has been going on with the locomotives being rebuilt in Ohio? I haven’t seen anything about them in a long time I would from time to time buy stay bolts or just donate.
thank you

Which locomotive in Ohio? Both Grand Trunk Western 4070 and Reading 2100 are both works in progress in Cleveland. I seem to remember Age of Steam Roundhouse has something in the works too. And possibly a couple others that I'm forgetting about.
Today I learned we have steamers being rebuilt in Ohio. Is there a list somewhere I can check out?

Along with restoring several locomotives They built a brad new roundhouse from the ground up, cool stuff.
@BillYo414 Reading 2100 and GTW 4070 are both at Midwest Railway Preservation Society and our B&O roundhouse in Cleveland. The 2100 being restored by American Steam Railroad and 4070 by MRPS ourselves. Mostly we only open up for the public on select dates (looks like the next one is May 13) but sometimes if you call or email ahead of time, special arrangements can be made for other times.
Well it may have been an unusual question but my I pad crashed and I lost all of my stored links. I was also involved in a severe accident which caused a brain bleed and I am now having trouble remembering things. I know it more then you folks need to know but you may be seeing more unusual questions.
thank you all for your help

If you're referring to Reading no. 2100, progress is still clipping right along!
We're currently concentrated on the interior of the boiler, where ultrasonic thickness surveys are being carried out on the boiler shell itself and the superheater flues which remain installed. Soon, the FRA will stop by to perform their inspection on the boiler, verifying that all is in good shape for service.
We recently wrapped work on replacing the two inner side sheets of the firebox, involving the full-penetration welding of the new 7/16" plate, driving of new rivets into the mudring, the construction and welding of more than 500 custom staybolts and much more. Other firebox work included the repair of 85 non-compliant staybolt sleeves in the combustion chamber, a new patch where the center firebox syphon had blistered, two new arch tubes on both sides of the firebox, and two small sections of the outer wrapper replaced. A pair of hydrostatic tests performed last year confirmed all of these repairs to be sound!
Our newest video update just released yesterday — take a look to see in more detail our work with the boiler, with myself and volunteer Cheryl Switalski hosting.
And there are still plenty of ways to donate to the cause, including original staybolts still available! Click here to browse our gift store for parts sponsorships and other merchandise, or click here to make an outright donation.
And still nothing for N&W 578 at ORM.
