As b&M said, the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden is a great place to look for Tube items.

they have a large selection of transport models in their very nice gift shop, as well as a fine museum, although it caters more to children.

My wife and I are in London often and use the Tube to get around, it is faster than a taxi most times. It can be a challenge at rush hour,  especially the elevators at Covent Garden.

Mr. Long:

If your son is interested in the undergound system, he will surely enjoy this recently released book:

I just received my copy. It's full of wonderful color photos going back several decades. As a fan of the system, I'm sure it would give him a lot of pleasure. I ordered my copy right from The Book Depository. Although UK based, you can place your order in American currency and, depending upon how quickly customs is processing parcels, I frequently receive orders from BD faster than I would from a domestic source.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Bob
