Long Island Rail Road Commuting

I've only used the L.I.RR. a few times, but from the news reports there seem to be more problems, on the line, NOW-A-DAYS!!!!

We need to consider that the LIRR is the busiest commuter railroad on the planet, so trains are numerous and operations are complex. I marvel at the unbelievably complex track work leading into and out of Jamaica, Sunnyside and Penn Station.

Though this is from Wikipedia, I believe that this posting is most true and the second paragraph backs what you say about the L.I.RR. being the busiest railroad.

Could just as well be NJ Transit. 

Name a commuter rail system in North America that always operates perfectly.  Maybe in Switzerland.
