Anybody ever make one? The only ones I have ever seen are the cheapie ones from sets and Marx, etc.

Weaver made their "Northeastern" style caboose in US Army livery, I have two of them. I do not know if there were any "real" US Army Northeastern-style cabooses but the Weaver models look good to me!
David, I have an RMT Navy caboose if you are interested.

The two green ones are my fantasy home made ones. Spray paint cans and old left over decals from airplane models I built. I have done the same thing to some tank and box cars. The other two are from sets.
I'm guessing from looking at my 5 or so modern military sets the caboose turned into some type of medical rescue car????? I have no idea if that's real or not.

Looks like its time for me to pull out the paint can and do it myself.
Thanks guys for all the tips and suggestings.
The best starting point would be a Extended Vision caboose. DoD numbers these in the 900 series.

If you do your research, the military has some of the most interesting prototypes in all of railroading.
